George Romas

George Romas is the Technical Director of Cybersecurity Practice for the HP Enterprise

Services U.S. Public Sector organization. His expertise includes cybersecurity,

enterprise architecture, technology strategy, big data solutions, systems engineering,

and simulation and applications database development.


Romas manages security services, security reference architectures, big data security,

mobility, cloud, cyber situational awareness and security operation centers. He is

responsible for developing innovative cyber solutions across public sector accounts. He

works directly with secure wireless and mobile solutions. His collaboration with HP

Labs, HP CTO Organization, product groups and third-party vendors allow him to

leverage innovative technologies to deliver the next generation of cybersecurity


Prior to joining HP, Romas served at the Chief Technology Officer for cyber initiatives at

Thermopylae Sciences and Technology and the Executive Director for the CTO Office at

CACI International, where he was instrumental at developing corporate strategies and

roadmaps for cyber technologies and solutions by leveraging 3D visualization and

behavior profiling.

Romas has a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) and is a NISSP

Information Systems Security Manager. He serves on the appraisal team for corporate

CMMI Level 3 accreditation, MENSA, IEEE and ACM. He earned a Bachelor of Science in

Computer Science and Economics with post-graduate work in the Department of

Computer Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
